It was in the pretty town of St Jean Cap Ferrat this cute couple of New Yorkers decided to celebrate their marriage surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Most made the trip from Mauritius (origin of the bride), Sweden (origin of the groom) and various American cities including New York, where the couple live …
So it was a wedding where different cultures and origins were mixed, everything under the sun of the French Riviera and its key “French” and more!
Preparations took place at Le Meridien Nice, a few hours before the wedding, a couple of photo shoots were organized in the hotel Eze with a breathtaking view.
By late afternoon, the beautiful Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild opened its doors, and the ceremony took place on the terrace overlooking the bay of Ville Franche, followed by cocktails and dinner in the gardens to the French.
A successful marriage, including Label ‘Emotion Riviera was responsible for all the wedding organization in its entirety.
A very nice event, at the height of this fabulous couple and their guests who were able to enjoy a beautiful June evening on our French Riviera.

“When I first started this process, I didn’t realize that my wedding planner would play such an important role leading up to the wedding, beyond just planning, but also as a friend and support – so it is really important to find a wedding planner who is genuinely goodhearted, patient and positive – Julie was all of that and much more!
I had reached out to about 7-8 wedding planners in the South of France, many of whom worked for popular agencies, featured on Style Me Pretty etc.. At the beginning, my budget was small and quite unrealistic, and almost no one wanted to work with me, or at least, appeared very inflexible or discouraged by this fact.
Julie, on other hand, did not let that get to her, and spent quite some time looking for a venue that would be within our budget. We had 3 days in France to visit the venues and when we discovered what our budget would get us, we realized that we needed to increase our budget. So overnight, Julie pushed hard to find new places for us to visit in our limited time there – without making us feel like we were being a problem. From that time on, I knew Julie was a gem and my fiance and I absolutely wanted to work with her.
And it did not disappoint: Julie was meticulous, hard-working and detail oriented throughout everything she did. We were also in different time zones, and she was extremely flexible with timing for our calls. Of course, these are all things you would expect from a wedding planner, but what striked me the most was that Julie always always always was patient, positive, and never made me feel bad for changing my mind 1000 times, listened to my concerns as if it was her own wedding, and never complained if a change in decision required more work on her end. She went above and beyond, and helped us with absolutely everything we needed outside of just the wedding, e.g., car rentals, looking for villa for our guests, searching for venues for wedding rehearsal cocktails. Julie truly was my savior, she has so much positive energy, it was an absolute joy to work with her, and I cannot thank her enough for all her help and support over the 10 months we worked together.
On the wedding day itself, wedding planners can get very stressed and be bossy with vendors – but Julie was calm, collected and never stressed any of the vendors out (a feedback I got directly from our vendors). Not everything went according to plans, e.g., shuttle were delayed because of traffic, but Julie handled everything, without me even realizing anything had happened – which allowed my fiance and I to fully enjoy our wedding night and not worry about anything.
Post the wedding, Julie followed up with our vendors for anything that was outstanding, even 1 month after – which is a true testament of her ownership and work ethics. I really lucked out to have worked with Julie for our wedding!”
